WillaFord.org used to be The Willa Ford Zone. I kinda fused the two sites together. I mean, "The Willa Ford Zone" is such a cool-ass name! So, I kept some trademarks from that site. After all, I still own the domain. The email service that I provide to Willa fans is where The Willa Ford Zone still resides. WillaFord.org is a unique mix of willafordzone.com, willa-ford.com, and willaford.nu. All addresses point here to WillaFord.org

I started my admiration of Willa Ford in May 2001 as I was getting ready to graduate from college. I heard "I Wanna Be Bad" and was like, "who is this chick? She's awesome!" So, I instantly became a fan. but it's not until I decided to learn HTML and web design that I decided to make a fan site for Willa. My first attempt was Willa Ford Fan Central, over at geocities in early July.

After I got the hang of HTML, I decided to buy a domain (yay for graduation money). Geocities was a good training site, but come ON, those annoying ads and limitations on bandwidth? I didn't think so. So, I registered willafordzone.com at Doteasy.com in August. If you're looking for a cheap place to buy and host a domain, I highly recommend it.

I've also acquired a few more domains for this site. Those being WillaFord.org, willaford.nu, and willa-ford.com. They're not different sites. All roads point to WillaFord.org. The site continues to grow in popularity and receives over 8000 hits per month!! The numbers keep growing! I'm hosting other Willa related sites too.

"Where do you want to go"?
Previously, I wrote here that I would like to meet Willa. I got my wish in December of 2001. I met her at a radio show in WV. The radio station, WVAQ, hooked me up with passes, so I got to meet and hang out with her and her mother backstage before the show. It was great! Willa is a really cool girl. Very chill and very appreciative of her fans. I look forward to being able to meet up with her again in the future.
WillaFord.org now has a staff. My main co-webmaster who also updates with me is Megan. She's my girl! She's my eyes and ears amongst other things. Jessica (some of you may know her from Yahoo's Unofficial Willa Ford Club) is also a contributing staff member. She's our direct connection to Willa. Chris, another contributing staff, helps us out. He does anything from layout design to interviews.
