 Atlantic Records; January 26, 2001 Orlando’s Hard Rock Live at Universal Studios was hit by a hurricane of Atlantic pop powerhouses when Ashley Ballard, Willa Ford, M2M, Plus One, and Debelah Morgan took the stage in Tuesday’s Teen-sation celebration. The assembled teen throngs screamed to the ceilings as Ashley Ballard hit Houston-worthy high notes, Willa ‘Ooh Ooh’ed to hip-hop infused dance moves, and M2M’s intimate acoustic pop melodies soothed the high-pitched crowd. Plus One then got the floor jumping with choreographed boy band perfection, and Debelah Morgan ended her five song headlining performance with a turbo-charged version of her tango-spiced single ‘Dance with Me.’ Yes, it was an extravagant night of teen pop prowess, but all is far from lost.
