How To Get That Look

Willa Ford always needs a contemporary hairstyle that matches her number one single “I Want to Be Bad.” Celebrity hairstylist Myles Haddad gave her just that for her appearance at the Pantene Pro-Voice Summer Showcase outdoor concert. It’s a style that not only holds up to stage lights and humidity, but looks great on any dance floor. Check out how to give your hair these twisted, ribbon-like locks.

Begin by distributing a smoothing cream like Pantene’s Pro-V Get It Straight Smoothing Crème evenly throughout hair. Then blow-dry hair straight. Pull half your hair up and out of the way with a clip. Divide the remaining hair into a few three-quarter inch sections. (more)

Twist one section of hair at a time and spray each with a super-hold hairspray like Pantene Pro-V Stay Smooth Settique. After twisting, set each individual section by taking a straightening iron and, starting at the root, clamping (do not slide) the hair all the way down to the end. Repeat for each twist until all your hair has been styled.
