There is a great deal of undeserving controversy surrounding the July release of Willa Ford's Willa Was Here album, because Willa is the ex-girlfriend of BSB Nick Carter. But if you've heard bad things about the 20-year-old singer, please disregard them. "Let's put things into perspective," say Willa. "With the energy some of these girls spend hating me, they could feed a small country." Willa's debut single, "I Wanna Be Bad," is a funky mix of pop and R&B. "I'm a very outspoken person," she says, "so obviously, my music is going to reflect that." Willa also wants to be a positive role model for young women. "I don't want you to be just like me," she says. "I just want you to get the message, do what you want to do, because if you don't, you'll never be happy."
